Members in attendance: Lew Sitzer, Gary Schlosser, Chuck Scimeca, Dave McKay, Dave Bloch, Neal Allbee, Marianne Slade-Troutman arrived at 7pm

Also present: Members absent: Ted Owens, Lisa Swarthout, Elisa Parker
Discussion Items
2. Adoption of the Agenda; Motion by Gary seconded by Neal to adopt the agenda. Vote: unanimous
3. Adoption of the minutes of June 16, 2005, Motion by Chuck, seconded by Gary. Vote, 4 yes, 1 abstention.
4. Public Forum; Invitation to members of the public to address the public with regard to issues what are not on the agenda. Limited to 3 minutes each.
5. Station update - Lew (Comcast negotiations and fund-raising events )
• July 4th Parade very successful, $1800 raised with both food and equipment donated (Railroad Café and Touchdown Productions). 20 Underwriters signed on.
• Elisa Parker will become Fund-raiser for NCTV. Goal is 40 underwriters. 8 have so far signed on for the new year.
• Budget looks good with Comcast contract moving along. NCSOS has given to ok to purchase new studio lighting for $7000. Lighting will be low energy use and low heat generation enabling us to put in AC later in the year as funding becomes available.
• New shows for the year include Open Studios Art Tour, Clodhoppers, The Grip, Community Focus and a Yoga Show.
• Public hours will be Mon through Friday, noon to 6pm and Wednesday, noon to 9pm. As soon as we are able, we will open up other nights to the public.
6. Chuck brought up the possibility of the ROP class doing a training and recruitment video for the GV Police Dept. He will take up the topic with the ROP instructor.
7. The Sierra College Studio Production Fall class was cancelled due to low enrollment. The Spring class is still scheduled to take place.

8. Next meeting is scheduled for the 4th Thursday, September 22nd.
