Advisory Board Meeting Minutes, December 14, 2006
Minutes: NCTV Advisory Board Meeting,
Thursday, December 14, 2006, NCTV Classroom
1. Meeting called to order by _Gary__at _6:04pm.
Members in attendance: Gary Schlosser, Barbara Coffman, Dave Bloch, Elisa Parker, Susan Rogers, Jack Meeks, Chuck Scimeca. Also present: Lew Sitzer (after 6:30 pm).
Discussion Items
2. Adoption of the Agenda: (Chuck/Susan) Passed 7/0.
3. Adoption of the minutes of Nov 16, 2006: (Susan/Chuck) Passed 7/0.
4. Public Forum: No public present.
NCTV Report
5. Report from Chair: announcement that this is the last Board meeting for Gary and Dave B. in their positions as Advisory Board members. Both will continue to assist NCTV in other ways.
6. Executive Director’s report:
Comments on hits/downloads of programs uploaded to Google TV (aka YouTube).
NCTV now has a bookkeeper.
TODAY, County got first check from Suddenlink; NCTV should see our share soon.
Membership is increasing; underwriting is going OK. All but two of the Telethon organizations have come through with either membership or 10% of their Telethon revenue. (Largest: Hospitality House gave us $500 of the $5,000 they received.)
Acknowledgement of Dave B. and Gary on their terms as Directors; expression of appreciation from the Board.
7. Report on 501c3 committee: Lew, Chuck and Dave B. will meet in January.
8. Report(s) from Strategic Planning committee: January retreats on schedule.
9. Report from Policy Review committee: No report pending January meeting.

10. Election of new Advisory Board members:
MOTION: accept Craig Burgess to the Advisory Board. (Barbara/Chuck) Passed 7/0.
MOTION: accept Bob Whitney to the Advisory Board. (Barbara/Susan) Passed 7/0.
